I Want a Healthy Snack After Breakfast!


We take in a lot of vitamins everyday, sometimes without even knowing! This can be great, right? wrong! a lot of the times these vitamins are not fully absorbed by our bodies due to a number of factors, one of which include what you may have eaten previously that day! We want to give you a great tip into opening your body's appetite for inviting these vitamins to stay. You'll need a few ingredients here, all of which you can find in your local supermarket..i hope.

You'll need:

  • Green Tea Bags, in this photo we used Chinese Jasmine Green Tea
  • A source of potassium, for example, a banana or an avocado
  • A kettle to boil water
  • Raw almonds 
Once you have all these ingredients you're good to go!

In the morning, before or after you've had your breakfast, get some hot water boiling enough for a cup or two of the green tea of your choice. As the water is boiling, go ahead and eat at least half a banana or some avocado (The potassium in these foods help your liver absorb nutrients much more efficiently thus sending these nutrients to your body at its optimal state)

By the time you've finished eating this high-potassium food your hot water should be boiled! Go ahead and make yourself a refreshing cup of green tea. Sit back enjoy your tea, and eat a handful of raw almonds preferably soaked in water, a great snack for the brain! Your body will love you.
